Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog at this hour. The weekend is over and work starts tomorrow again. I believe you all had a sweet and interesting weekend as it's a continuation of our beloved Muslim brothers and sisters Eid El Fitr celebrations. One of the most alarming form of pollution is land pollution and its mostly caused by littering. Littering is the act of disposing trash in small amounts on the roads, streets and so on, which later heaps up and make the environment healthy and sickening to the sight. Littering could really make an environment look really bad and portray the inhabitants of such area as dirty
The most common litters that are heaped up on the streets include drinks and water bottles, cigarette butts, biscuits, chewing gum, bread, sweet wrappers, sachet water nylons etc. These items find there ways heaped up on our major highway, or certain locations within our residence when people either deliberately dump them there or by throwing it from a moving vehicle, or a dustbin that is overflowing.
The act of littering the environment is an unlawful activity that has penalties in some cities and locales where you have to pay a particular amount of money when you are caught in the act. In some places you'd be compelled to undergo community services such as sweeping the major roads for a certain period of time with no pay, sort of a punishment in the actual sense.
