If you'd like a better chance of receiving more curation rewards for your dual language content, then you need to read this post.
We have many curators from many cultures reading your work, and some even submit your work to OCD, meaning you could get a whale vote for your great content.
However, there are a couple of reasons that our curators might not even READ your piece. Many will just scroll by and not even open it. Here's why!
🍌 Very long titles in two languages
🍌 Switching between English and Spanish from paragraph to paragraph
🍌 Only Spanish content.
Whilst we'd love to support Spanish content, ultimately, many of our curators *don't speak the language* and find the presentation of dual language posts HARD TO READ. When you read A LOT on HIVE, you are more likely to skip posts that are tricky to read.
There are a couple of ways to make your posts be more likely to be read.
- English only in title, Spanish in the image, like so:
🍌 Write in columns, English on one side, Spanish on the other. Not sure of the code? Drop into the Natural Medicine discord and ask. Here's a good example of columns. written by @miriannalis.
🍌 Write a post in English, then in Spanish OR use an mixture of columns and block text. This post uses English first, then Spanish - so exactly like this post would be good. But here's some examples:

🍌 Use the 'short description' to add the Spanish title. You'll find that in PEAKD, just under your post. In your post preview, readers will see the English title, and the Spanish title underneath. This is much less messy than a really long title in two languages.

🍌 Usa la 'descripción corta' para añadir el título en español. Lo encontrarás en PEAKD, justo debajo de tu post. En la vista previa de tu post, los lectores verán el título en inglés y el título en español debajo. Esto es mucho menos complicado que un título muy largo en dos idiomas.
