Let's talk a little about what we eat today.

The changes that food has undergone, our food and our diets until now.

Lately many people tell me that today's food is very contaminated, that vegetables are treated with too many chemicals during the whole time they are planted until they are harvested, that chickens are injected with many hormones to grow fast and get very fat in a short time, that the food of all animals is chemically manipulated and so on with everything we eat today.

I agree that they are very right, but if it were not for science that has improved everything related to food, what would we be eating now, the crops would not be enough to meet the needs of the demand of an increasingly large population, the same would happen with everything we feed ourselves every day.

Let's go back in time, how food was before being manipulated to improve its quality in nutrients, size and yield.

In the same way we must take care of our food because in the same way science will continue to advance with respect to the manipulation of food, and we need to continue eating.

Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, omnimero, carnivorous the best thing is to have a healthy diet whatever you want to eat.

In my case I think that the food that I have always eaten since I was a child I could say that it has been very healthy, since living in the countryside and working in agriculture gives us the ability to harvest our vegetables, feed our chickens and hens from which we take the eggs, drink freshly milked cow's milk in the mornings, prepare homemade cheese, make homemade bread, we also take the milk of the goat and with it we also prepare cheese.
It should be noted that as every Venezuelan can not miss the arepas in the daily diet, we here at home we grind our corn for the production of flour and thus to make arepas, as we also buy the flour already packaged either we mix it with the one we grind or simply made alone, we also grow wheat, which likewise is ground to make bread or wheat flour arepas.

As for the coffee we exchange other items with the neighbor next door or simply gives us the grains that we then have to grind them.

My advice to you readers would be to take care of your diet, whatever diet you want to take it is always advisable to accompany it with an exercise routine and always include a balance of protein and carbohydrates in your meals whether you are vegetarian or omnivore, the trick is to replace some products with others for example: if your desire is not to eat meat then eat enough beans, bananas and likewise if you want to eat other things...
If you have a small garden plant some seeds and so you will have your own vegetables and fruits, likewise if you do not have it plant small things in pots. remember that any detail makes a difference.

There are few things in life more satisfying than eating a good meal that you like.

Before I say goodbye I share with you a soup with some arepas that I had for lunch today.

the pictures of my lunch soup were taken with my AKUA K5 phone camera.

Note: I am describing my diet and daily food, with this I do not mean that you should eat the same as me, and I respect the diet that each person decides to take. I emphasized how food has changed chemically and genetically by man to become aware of the evolution of food just for that reason.

I hope you liked my post thank you very much for reading and see you next time.

Thanks to @miriannalis for sharing with me the information to participate with you.
