Good morning from sunny Greece my friends, how are you? Yesterday me and my father drove to our village called "Konitsa" in order to deliver some goods to my grandmother and because it was finally time to harvest some fresh homegrown veggies!
*My Grandmother's Gardern* My grandmother just turned 88 last month and like most Greek grandmas she has a beautiful garden which she takes care of every single day. You see, my grandfather passed away 10 years ago and since then she is all alone. Her only company is her garden and her wild cat name "Antony". Too bad I couldn't take a photo of Antony. He was probably hunting snakes or just chilling at a neighbor's roof! My grandma's garden has 3 levels. The first one is full flowers of any kind. She used to have way more but she is getting older and more plants means more work so... Here are some photos I took.
Flowers are my grandma's treasure so you can pretty much guess she puts a lot of effort and time every day to keep them healthy and beautiful.
The second garden floor is where all magic happens. My grandma and we love fresh vegetables so we have planted a ton of them. Check it out
*My ❤️ grandma ❤️ and her veggies* As you can see, there are all sorts of veggies to choose. Fresh Onions, lettuce, spinach, leek and many more.
*Harvesting fresh onions* We filled our bags with a little bit of everything.

Then we have the third floor which used to be full of veggies too but since my grandma is getting older she decided to take it easy and let mother earth do her magic. Just take a look at how beautiful these wild flowers are. Their colors are amazing. Nature at it's finest!
It's just so beautiful! I always choose the third floor to relax. The sweet scent of wildflowers combined with this mountain view always makes me so happy.
It feels so good growing and eating your veggies guys, you should definitely give it a try. You can start by growing some onions and lettuce which is really really easy and if you don't have a garden don't worry, you can always grow veggies in a plant pot ;) I am really proud for my grandma and I always wanted to blog about her awesome garden.
