Here we go!! It's 11:55 AM. The kids have finally put in a full morning of school work. Time to get us all out of the house and get some much needed exercise. We moved right before the lockdown from an apartment to a much nicer townhouse. I show the house quite well in an earlier post. https://peakd.com/home/@inalittlewhile/life-transition-before-lockdown-we-moved During our walk today, I was able to take some good pics of our surrounding neighborhood. Hold on to your seats....
Just down the street from where our walk began in the feature image is a nice grassy area on a hill. It looks a bit steep for a picnic.
There's some nice shade on the left under that tree!
And to the right is another tree casting some nice shade. It could offer enough level ground for a picnic.
We continued up the street, uphill with a left curve, until we came to the 1st community swimming pool. The landscaping in our neighborhood is amazing.
Several "No Doing Things" signs hang on the gate to the swimming area, but no Closed due to Covid notices. Guess it's assumed that everybody knows that.
I'm not sure if the perspective truly shows it but get a look at the size of that palm frond!
Rather than try to show the pool through the gated area, we found a break in the foliage and a fence that doesn't block the view too much. The color of that sky is intense!!
That jacuzzi sure looks enticing, but will it ever be safe to go back in with other people again? Maybe, if they're family members only. Who knows?
Continuing on, we took the top cross-street to the left. Knowing there is a 2nd swimming pool up ahead, we crossed sides of the street to get a better look. On our way you can see another large grassy area and an incredible section of landscaping.
This was the view as we approached.
And from the reverse side.
I found this tree with its many hanging vines worthy of a stop and picture. So cool how nature displays itself.
By this time the kids were wondering if this was a walk or a photoshoot. I explained to them it was both in one. At least we finally made it to the second pool.
From there we crossed the street again to start making our way home. It's all in a big circle, but we managed to take a dead end street that didn't lead back to the bottom where we live. Still...look at that huge grassy...tree-ee area!!! May have to chill there soon like the family in the pic.
Up top and another large grassy area. We're still on the wrong street here.
Another big area that stretches out behind where the family was having a picnic in the pic above. We got lost after this trying to find a way down in-between the townhouses.
But we eventually found a way, as there are the kids back in front of our place. Our total time out was around 40 - 45 minutes. Stay safe. Stay healthy. And Happy Hiveing!! All images are my own from my S10+ Until next time, @inalittlewhile
