Today Story : "Corona Virus isn't Airborne" WHO said

*A few days ago I had read a tweet that wrote "the world health authorities hide that actually the Corona virus is airborne transmission not droplets". He argued to see how the death rate in Italy is very high as well as massive transmission rates that occur in a short matter.*

-- **Let's talk about it!** **Types** of viruses in the world number in the hundreds or even thousands more, each virus has its *own character, including the way of transmission*. Transmission of disease in the medical world is called the **transmission process**. There are 5 types of transmission of the disease virus including: **1 /** Direct contact with body fluids in sufferers. For example through the nose, eyes, mouth also open wounds in healthy people. **2 /** By air either directly "airborne" or droplets through the respiratory tracts. **3 /** Spread orally through food or the surface of contaminated objects. **4 /** Through vectors, or living things that can spread viruses or diseases such as mice, mosquitoes, etc. **5 /** Zoonotic transmission, ie from animals to humans. This type of transmission can spread via oral, direct contact, vector or through the air. Examples of cases of the spread of the virus for example in the HIV virus (AIDS) the way it is transmitted through sex and even then it is still categorized by the habit of wrong sexual patterns, for example, frequently changing partners, free sex, etc. In dengue virus the transmission is through another host's life before it is transmitted to humans. Airborne virus transmission such as polio virus, chicken pox, etc. Of the various types of transmission of this virus the most dangerous is the transmission of direct contact because the risk is very high, the second is airborne because the coverage area is wide.

Spread of disease through airborne is often thought to be the same as droplets, but there are some differences. In droplets the spread is in a scope that is less than 2 meters with the patient, for example coughing or sneezing and the germ particles touch and enter healthy people through the eyes, nose, mouth. WHO explains that Covid-19 is a virus that is transmitted by saliva or **droplets infection** such as infection in tuberculosis, colds, Ebola infection. Covid-19 or Novel Sars Cov-2, transmission through the spitting of the patient's saliva when sneezing, coughing or having a conversation within a distance of less than 2 meters, that is why WHO is calling on everyone for "physical distancing" which used to be called "social distancing". Viruses are contagious when we interact directly with sufferers or we touch objects in public places that have a history of contact with sufferers, perhaps because they are held by sufferers whose hands are contaminated with the virus, or accidentally sneeze / cough and viruses stick to the objects or equipment for example falling to the floor, sticking to a chair, on a banister etc. WHO recommends that we always maintain hand hygiene by frequently washing hands with soap, and using hand sanitizers when in a place where it is not possible to find water to wash hands, avoiding touching areas of the face such as rubbing eyes, nose, mouth before making sure our hands are completely clean and sterile, covering the mouth and nose with tissue when coughing or sneezing. This Corona virus has an incubation period of 14 days, and it does not directly show symptoms. The person with the virus though has not shown any symptoms, but in his respiratory tract there is a corona virus that is ready to be sprayed every time through coughing and sneezing, or conversing. That is why when outside the room or public places we must wear a mask and keep a distance or should as much as possible avoid crowded places. **For example**, *in epidemiology there is 1 positive status and around there are 10 people who have the potential to be infected, of these 10 people will be able to transmit to 100 people even more, around them or those who have a history of contact and so on especially those who are immune low*. Very high infectiousness and late handling will be fatal for patients or people around who are infected with Covid-19. In dealing with the Corona virus, *the most important thing is prevention*, instill self-awareness, according to the advice of the health authorities or the local government to keep a distance when in public places or at home, *often washing hands, wearing masks when outside activities, maintaining immunity, maintaining the pattern eat healthy, maintain adequate rest patterns, not smoke, etc.*
