5 steps to solve conflict

Conflict is nothing more than resistance to reality. There is no point in spending energy and time questioning and denying our reality, as this will not change it. We will only be dispersing our focus on what really matters: our well-being.

How then do we resolve our conflicts? 1- We have to accept reality as it is. Instead of being in denial or arguing with life itself, we can choose to accept the current moment. This process returns peace to the mind, which is essential for the rest of the process. 2- Recognize the points that can be worked on in order to get out of the state of conflict. "What can I do to improve my situation?" "What's in my reach?" 3- Distinguish what does not depend on us and accept that we cannot control everything. If there is something we cannot change, there is no point in putting our energies there. We will only be dispersing our focus. 4- Establish a commitment with our Self in order to work everything that is within our reach in an organized and regulated way. In other words, we need to create actionable strategies to avoid frustrations and breakdowns towards our goals. 5- Be understanding with our Self, respecting our own rhythm and above all, our limits. It is important to respect the signals of our body and mind, and not to stretch the rope beyond the healthy. Remember that it is useless to try to do everything running if it makes you lose your fuel halfway. Respect your own flow, and life will respond to you with respect as well. |
