What is better than 8-hour-jobs?

The following rule should be remembered:

Invest more energy in your personal development than in your career.
If you are satisfied with yourself and have a strong mindset, life will be easier for you.
Many of my friends work 8 hours a day at the same job. They are highly dissatisfied with their lives. But they don't want to change anything about it. So the question arises why they do it that way.

Usally, it's about one very clear thing:
Money.

Is it worth it?

I don't want to be misunderstood. Money is enormously important for a fulfilled and happy life. But is it worth so much that you exchange your happiness for it? After all, having more money won't automatically make you happier. However, you have it easier because you can exchange money for happiness. But for that you need enough of it first! But nowadays there are enough possibilities to earn money independent of a stressful 8-hour job.

Back to the topic...

The typical daily routine of my friends is that they come home, change their clothes and then go to bed. The rest of the day is wasted on Candy Crush or Swiping and Stalking the Ex on Instagram.
I know it's not easy. After working for 8 hours, you barely have enough energy to take a shower. There's nothing left but Instagram and Candy Crush.

Even if you are firmly convinced that this is how life is, you have to change something to become happy again.
First comes your personality, then your health, and then you take care of your work. Any other sequence would be wrong.

Now you are probably asking yourself: How to do that?

  • Correct morning routine

Every morning I read a book of my choice for thirty to sixty minutes and then meditate for forty minutes. And during that time, I only use my phone to post something on Instagram because it's my hobby. Otherwise, my phone is off. Believe me, it helps a lot!

What kind of books I read?
It's very simple: everything is right.

You can read any kind of stories. It's always exciting to dive into another life. But you can also - if you want to get the best out of yourself - educate yourself through books. With a view to the numerous possibilities or topics, there are no limits: There are books about financial topics, science or success. There is something for everyone.

  • sport and healthy nutrition

Sports are supposed to be good. For yourself, your health, and your brain performance, and thus for your work. Make sport every day and eat healthy!
When it comes to food, environmental and human rights violations are commonplace. So it is important that we advocate for social and environmentally friendly agriculture and food production worldwide.
So in the future, don't just make sure you're doing well. Nature and other people also have a right to be valued.

  • be honest

Rarely we show courage and can tell our reflection the truth. It would simply help to hold up one's mistakes to oneself in order to work on oneself. But some people don't like to do that. After all, it would feel like digging in the dirt with your bare hands. Yet we don't like to get our fingers dirty. Be honest with yourself, but also with others.
Meditation and sports can help you get to know yourself better. This will also make it easier for you to be honest with yourself. Don't say no to it.

  • Continuing education

Many people do not realize that they have to continue their education for life. After school or university, everyone rushes into working life. No one attaches more importance to information, unless it is about the money. Yes, this information is also valuable. But what about (for example) the question of why we want money in the first place?

The average person answers this question with the following:
I need money to...

  • to eat
  • drink
  • take care of my children
  • go to work
  • go out with friends...

Honestly? That's way too short.
You don't need money in the first place to do all these things. Nowadays we don't depend on money. As a rule, the government always helps us when we don't have enough money.
The only real reason we want it is because we measure our value with it.

Now I want you to understand that you can learn a lot even beyond topics like "how to make money". If you want to achieve more than others, you have to learn more than others. As I said, this doesn't refer to money!
