Dopamine is a chemical messenger that is responsible for releasing the energy and motivation needed for productivity. So we need a regular supply of dopamine in the body to be able to function maximally. Also, it is important to consider adopting regular daily routines that will boost the release of this important chemical into our bodies in the right proportion.

As much as dopamine is a neccessity, it’s important to maintain natural processes of getting it into our bodies. Induced dopamine production works but it will likely result in bigger problems such as addiction and decreased dopamine production in future. So, it’s important to maintain natural procedures.

Dopamine deficiency can lead to negative emotions such as moodiness, easy fatiqability,depression,insomnia etc.

There are several ways to get dopamimne into the body and we will be considering a few;

Diet - To ensure a regular supply of dopamine, You will need to feed on highly proteinous foods. Foods rich in protein contains amino acids such as tyrosine which can be converted into dopamine in the body. Tyrosine can be found in eggs, bananas, fish, beans etc.

Regular Exercise - Physical excercise is also an effective way to boost the production of dopamine in the brain. Excercises generally boosts a person’s health and wellness. It promotes physical and mental agility, keeping you strong and mentally alert.

Sleeping - Research shows that dopamine is at a high level in the morning when one wakes up from sleep, this increases energy level and causes a feeling of alertness. So, a disruption of this natural process happens when one doesn’t get enough sleep. A healthy sleeping pattern will keep this process running and help maintain a constant release of dopamine for maximum daily functioning.

Meditation - Meditation will help your focus and concentration level to a very large extent. Research has shown that dopamine is released in the process of meditation which results in the ability to focus and reason properly. It’s important to learn the act, and spend some time meditating if you desire to naturally increase your dopamine level.

Supplements - Deficiency in some neccessary vitamins and minerals needed in the body could impede the dopamine production process. So, it’s important to supplement the nutrients lacking in our food. You can consider taking the vitamins you lack in form of supplements to boost dopamine production.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet will help regulate the production of dopamine in the body. Since it’a such an important factor in our productivity, we need to make neccesessary adjustments so that we can always be in the right mood for personal effectiveness.
