Hello, Hivers and NMers both! Welcome to another edition of the Tuesday Mindful Life curation. The difficulties of our global process continue, but here's a place where we can replenish our strength, join in community and forge beautiful connections which may even extend well beyond the digital boundaries of this platform to rise as lifelong partnerships.
This curation is dedicated to all of you. On behalf of the Natural Medicine team, I thank you for your effort, your courage to share unique visions here, your engagement with the visions of others, and your openness to exploring new ways of seeing the world. The authors featured today all share their experience of finding thankfulness despite (or perhaps because) the current challengers, their vision of magic and their specific knowledge of emotions.
Let's get to it!
I want to open this curation with this contribution by @creativemary, about a topic I'm intimately familiar with. She puts digital communities in perspective and shares some insights about the importance of keeping our true selves at the forefront and our genuine friendships close by, shedding the often shallow personalities that we put out and see on social media.
The list
Next up, I highlight this gorgeous post by @bulldog-joy, where she talks a bit about her recent struggles and shares a couple of pictures of a place she loves, as evidence of a magical encounter that made her rethink her whole approach about her current situation. The phenomenon she caught with her phone might be described as a play of sunlight, but she feels it's much more.
Do you see what I see?
Lots of people have been returning to the platform of late for a variety of reasons, and some of them are really into making sure they thank everyone who's inspired and supported them over the years. This time it's @buckaroobaby's turn, and she's thrilled to resume her work here. She also offers a lovely insight on the life of beehives, accompanied by great images!
Pollination and the survival of the hive
The virus and the lockdowns set up to deal with it have left all of us reeling, and many struggle to find purpose, keep in touch with friends and family over digital apps or rebuild a life from the ruins of the previous one. However, there are those like @erinktran who choose to see this shift in the most positive light possible. She's open to the new possibilities!
I have learned to reorganize life during the pandemic
In her response to @abundance.tribe's biweekly question, @thisismylife also reminisces about the world that was, the times when she spent nights in music festivals and dancing. Those times are past and new opportunities are now rising, but for now, she just wants to share the things that she continues to enjoy despite the changes, as well as her hopes for the future.
The ways in which I choose to celebrate life
To finish up this curation, I want to offer a warm welcome-back to @lizbetcontreras, who had been away from the community (albeit not Hive) for months. It's nice to have her back, and with this awesome post about Svadhisthana, the second chakra, associated with Water and ruler of emotions, sexuality and creativity. Thank you!
The sacral chakra
In every curation, we reward one of our delegators as a 5% beneficiary. This week I chose @anggreklestari, as she continues to offer her relaxed, tender vision of mindfulness with us.
