Riding a bike can be a great sport, if you assume so, but beyond that it has other great advantages, for example, the great positive impact it has on our health, as well as most sports brings great benefits to your body, in this case it is no different with cycling.
But I know that not for everyone will be an option to be able to ride a bicycle every day, however, I could say that it works very well as a means of transportation, and it has added another great benefit, you can save a lot of money in terms of paying fares, because it allows you to reach many spaces with a bicycle, so it is not necessarily to assume it as a sport, but using a bicycle as a transportation system will allow you to have a good effect on your health as well as on your pocket.
The other aspect that I would like to emphasize is that it is likely that because you live far away from your work, it would be understood that this is not an option, or that the road to your work does not have bike lanes, which forces you to be on the highway, which is very dangerous, so you do not see it as an option, but despite this, it is not ruled out that you could assume it as a good form of distraction.
That is to say, it could be a good hobby for you and your partner, or for you and your family. Maybe one Sunday you decide to go for a walk to a park near the house, avoid using public transportation, and surely you would enjoy it, in a healthy way, and you can gradually distance the spaces you want to visit, and do it by bike, that way you could exercise, distract yourself, and have that great benefit for your body and mind.
On the other hand, it is good to highlight that it should be a good option even for those who have a car, since by using a bicycle one day instead of a motor car, they collaborate with the environment by reducing carbon emissions, which we all know is having a great negative impact on the world.
