This day I want us to look at several ways we can manage stress in our daily life’s.

Stress is part of our daily life, but while moderate stress boosts the immune system and improves the activity of the heart, much or chronic stress is inimical to our general well-being because it makes the body susceptible to a variety of illness and worsen the existing health condition.

Studies have shown that it can increase the heart rate and the flow of blood, when this happens, cholesterol and triglycerides are released into the blood stream, increasing the possibility of you having stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure and obesity.

Stress can worsen an asthmatic or diabetic condition and cause depression, anxiety, migraines, accelerated aging and premature death among others.

Therefore, we must all know that stress is a silent killer when not properly managed.

To manage stress, you must determine whether your stress is moderate or chronic.

For chronic stress, watch out for symptoms such as; lack of concentration, memory loss, back/neck pain, constant headaches and insomnia.

Manage your stress by knowing the stressors around you-the things or people that are stressing you up.

If you can avoid them please do so, but if you can’t just mange and adapt to them.

Get rest from time to time and deliberately look away from things begging for your attention.

Take out time to get some exercise because according to researcher’s exercise teaches the brain on stress resilience.

Sometimes you should have some good time with family and friends, it can help you free your emotional stress.

And in conclusion make sure you eat healthy diet and avoid worry and anxiety and for sure you will be living a healthy life as well.

Do have a lovely week ahead.

Cheers!!!
