It is another day spending time at home. Today I feel like I am living in heaven!! 🥰 I am a nature lover. So it is one of my hobbies, Gardening. There was nothing special to do today. So I walked around my garden. I am so Happy!!! It is filled with so many flowers. As a hobby and to get a calm mind I do this. I am living in a small village. So there is no loud noises or air pollution. But I do not mention that urbanization has no good. However I love to live in a village rather than an urban area.

Everyday the sun shines bright on the flowers in my garden. But today the beauty of it is more than other days. Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies and I love to spend time in my garden. To me, a beautiful garden means Heaven. I think it is a help to the oxygen circulation. Not only flowers in my garden but also vegetable plants and fruit plants. So It is good to get fresh and healthy foods growing by ourselves. Another thing is when someone comes to our home they can treat their eyes because of these flowers.
The best thing is in our garden, there are some kinds of orchids. There is an orchid flower that blooms once a year. It bloomed. Every year I wait to see these flowers. It is an innocent pleasure. My mother and I planted this flower plant. I got this flower in my grandma’s garden. She also likes gardening. She has a beautiful collection of flower plants. I don't even know the names of some plants in her garden. When I went there I borrowed branches of those plants and planted them in my garden. Then I am looking for a flower agog. So guys here it is!

There are also baby roses, jessemines, Ixora etc. Ixora blooms these days so nicely. I heard that this is native to Sri Lanka , Bangladesh and Indonesia. This grows in a bushy rounded shape. Those are in front of my house. So it is a beautiful scene to everyone. I am sure this flower is so attractive to you too.

Here are more flowers from my garden. Anthurium is one of my mother’s favorites. She is watering and growing it eagerly. Jessamine plant is my nanga’s one. She planted it. Also There are baby roses. I think those roses are named as baby roses. Everyone says that name. These roses are growing up fastly. They spreading everywhere. I just planted a branch of it two month ago, I think. They are grown beautifully. I feel that they are smiling vainly.

There are not only flowers but also fruits. They are still growing. I am caring for them like my sister.😜 I water them, cut branches, and put in compost fertilization. There are Mangoes, guava, banana, ceylon olive , Lovi , Rambutan, lemon, pomegranate (delum/දෙà·…ුම්), and mongoose (මැංගුà·ƒ්) plants. Do you know the best thing? Those are some plants I got from when we ate some fruits and get seeds of it. Then I planted them. We can get fruits without any poison or unnatural fertilizers. You don't have to pay much money to buy plants from shops. Just plant some seeds of fruits when you eat. I proudly say that. Because I got all the plants without money and effort. There are a variety of mangoes. No matter how long they grow. I just wanna give my contribution to protect this world and environment. I think there is no need to talk about the value of these plants.

All those are still plants. Next I went to my father's garden. It is filled with vegetables. When he got some free time he planted those plants. You all remember that in the last few months it was rare to find some termoric and even if it was found, it was so expensive. In that season we got a termoric yam from our uncle. My father planted it. We got termoric from it. Turmeric grows from yams. And also there are cinnamon bushes in our garden. My village is rich in cinnamon. So simply we can find condiments for our dishes from our garden.

Ah!! There are also pandan bushes and karapincha (curry leaves) plants in my garden.

Everyone likes sweets. What do you know about sugar cane? We planted it too. There are more than lm length sugar canes. There are many benefits from this bush. We can even make jaggery. There are also long bean( මෑකරල්), Gotukola, brinjal and Innala yams and Manioc yams. These things are so easy to grow. So try it. Manioc is so easy to plant. You just need to cut some pieces of that plant and plant it like in the pictures below.

So guys it is really effortless. We are not planting those to get an economic value. We just use these for ourselves. But if you like you can start gareding as a self employment. But you need to take care of what you plant. Your efforts to create a poison-free garden will be successful only if you experience and improve yourself. Determining what crops you intend to grow in the garden should be based on what you have prepared. It must include the nature of your land and soil, the pattern of drainage, and the water supply. Whether your garden is in a dry zone, between a wet zone and a central zone, and the pattern of rainfall should be cultivated - factors that influence the selection of possible crops.

So hurry up. Do anything to protect the environment and yourself !!!
