Reasons to Add Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) to Your Water

Hey everyone. I'm doing a quick health post today on why you should be adding Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) to your glass of water. This refers to ACV that is unfiltered and still contains "The Mother." Adding a teaspoon, tablespoon, or a splash of ACV to your glass of water will do some of the following: Balance Blood Sugar: "Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar supports healthy insulin response and blood sugar levels. It improves insulin sensitivity when you eat carbohydrate-dense meals, reducing the impact excessive starch can have on your metabolism, improving insulin sensitivity and lowering blood glucose response to this large intake of sugars. For example, scientists found that consuming acetic acid (the type of acid found in ACV) at the same time as eating a 50-gram slice of white bread reduced blood glucose response by 31.4 percent. That’s seriously good news for diabetics."

Increase satiety and lose weight: Intaking ACV will help your body feel satiated. This means that your body will feel "full" sooner. This can help prevent overeating and help with weight loss.
