Firstly - I'd like to point out the irony in my title - "It's a Doggy Dog World". This bit of word play has been inspired by your royal highness - Charlie. My esteemed Basset and workout companion.
Today Charlie-boy joined me on a walk so that we can burn some calories, re-energize, and re-focus. It was fun, actually! We headed out this morning when the air was crisp and the birds were chirpier than usual.
Charlie was pooped afterwards, to say the least!
What Else?
With it being Day Two of my journey towards a heathier, fitter, and more focused me, I can proudly announce that I am still sticking to my diet and proposed water intake. I've drunk far less tea and I have been delving into those fruit and veggies.
Here's my prep work for tonight's vegetable soup. And the weather is just right for it too!
All I did was gather up a bounty of spring onions, pumpkin, radishes, and carrots and I plonked them a pot with some vegetable stock - no fancy recipe here!
My little helper - isn't she cute! ! Getting some good family time in today too!
I haven't gotten to today's round of 100 sit-ups just yet - but I will, don't worry. I am feeling determined!
Tomorrow's meal plan:
- Breakfast - scrambled egg and a grilled tomato
- Snack - small yogurt
- Lunch - Vegetable soup
- Snack - fruit
- Dinner - Chicken breast and salad b
Tomorrow looks like it's going to be warm and sunny - so, for cardio, I was thinking of doing laps in the pool!
If you haven't noticed, I haven't subscribed to a gym contract or the like. I am on such a tight budget, so trying to do "fit and healthy me" the affordable way!
Let's see what tomorrow holds!
Much love @sweetpea
