Make at home

Hello my friends and fellow writers of the Beehive, today I want to share with you an ancestral and very easy method of how to grow, process and harvest Lentil sprouts.

50 grams of lentil

1 or 2 disposable trays

Land

Water

Sun

A water spray, like the one used by hairdressers and stylists to wet hair.

And finally and very IMPORTANT: "LOVE"

STEPS:

* Place the soil in the tray so that it is even and well compacted (it is preferable to use soil that is sold in nurseries, but rather to use any loose soil). Moisten the soil with plenty of water, so that it absorbs moisture well.

☛* Soak the Lentil grains for some 3 or 4 hours, in a separate container with enough water. This before putting them on the tray. (It is soaked to hydrate and begin the germination process).

☛* Once soaked, take them to the tray and cover with a thin layer of Earth and moisten a little with the water spray (if you do not have it, do it by hand, avoiding placing excess water).

☛* Once this is done, place them on a window, terrace, garden or balcony and water them every time you notice that the earth is drying (usually it depends on the climate and geographical condition where the germination takes place, the first sprout can be seen on the third day) .

☛*Once you finish, put the tray back in your usual place and you can continue harvesting Lentil sprouts for 3 or 4 more times, until you notice that the sprouts are scarce and lose their strength.
