Hello, wonderful people 👫 of the hive blockchain. How are you all? Hope that you are having a good time and having a comfortable life midst of the pandemic. I am fine and healthy as well, Alhamdulillah. Here are my today's activities reports. It is also my 97th participation in the #iamalivechallenge contest, a project run by Eric aka @flaxz.
_the desktop with another beautiful wallpaper on the desk in my chamber_ --- The cases of scorpion 🦂 bite are quite common in Oman. Locally it is known as **Akram** bite. Today got two scorpion 🦂 bite patients in my chamber, one was a Bangladeshi guy and another one was an Omani lady. When a person comes with excruciating pain following a Scorpion bite, we inject lidocaine, an injectable anaesthetic agent in and around the place of the bite. The patient gets relief from the pain instantly. We also give an injectable painkiller. I gave the same treatment to two of my patients today. I got another Bangladeshi guy with partial avulsion of the right great toenail. Under local anaesthesia, I removed the nail 💅 completely. As usual, another group of patients came with symptoms suggestive of COVID19. However, none of them did the PCR test. I had to give the symptomatic treatment. --- ## COVID status in Oman 🇴🇲 In the last 24 hours * New cases: 1480 * New death: 13 * New admission: 105 * Total cases so far: 173029 * Total death: 1789 * Death rate: 1.03% * Recovery rate: 88.99% * Currently sick: 9.97%

--- The holy month of Ramadan is not starting tomorrow in Oman. It will start on the 14th of April. Today the moon wasn't sighted in the Sultanate of Oman. However, in Saudi Arabia, tomorrow is the first Ramadan. --- I am fine, Alhamdulillah. How about you? ---
