I am a Malayalee guy who was born and bought up in Karnataka. Since I spent most of my days in Karnataka, I kind relate myself be more of Kanadiga than a Malayalee. Still, My friends used to put me in the Malayalee team when they got chance to do that during a cricket game. I was bought up by a very religious mom who always emphasized on praying, being humble and not hurting anyone, especially women. I know Ill never be pray as much as her, but I try to practice what she taught me. During my childhood, She used to tell me about Lord Krishna stories to put me to sleep. I was so Influenced by these stories that I decided to give up eating meat at the age of 5 after learning Krishna was a vegetarian. I was also partially bought up by a Monkey named Maruthi. It used to remove lice from my long curly hair and it bit my maid if she tried to touch me when I was a kid. Yea, Maruthi was very possessive. This Monkey loved Pepsi and Masala Dosa's so much that It used to steal Toothbrushes and spectacles from our neighbors and would return it only on getting one its favorite things. Do I sound like a sanskari(Decent) guy who has not stepped a foot wrong so far? I have made a lot of mischief/mistakes that I regret about, I have opened up on a part of it in our @hive-india podcast.Imagine You Were Arrested. What Will Your Family Think? If you're from The Police, Its best if you don't listen. All of us did open up about our dark side. I had only traveled to temples with family until I graduated. Had this strong urge in me to step own and See India on my own. It felt like India was calling! So I decided to go to my first trek with a group to Mullyangiri in Chikmagalur. Where I had a blast and connected some awesome Individuals. I've written about this experience in my blog. @momogrow Hello I am MoMoGrOw- I love meeting new people and in general enjoying life.
