I bought 2 bunches of water spinach or kangkong leaves in the market. Also, Propagating them is very easy. You can do propagation by seeds or by cutting the stems. Since I have lots of stems, I simply soak them in a jar of water and wait for the roots and leaves to develop. Place them in the sunny part of your house or window sill. You will have to change the water every 2 or 3 days for healthy roots, then transfer them to the pot.
Day 1
Day 4
The roots are developed, sprouting leaves from the stems are visible.
Day 7
Roots are longer.
Day 10
The leaves are developed.
Day 14
Ready to transfer them in the pot to grow more.
Other herbs that I grow from cutting are mint leaves.
Basil leaves
Lettuce and celery
They are lovely additions to any dish, I even use them to garnish foods for blogs.
I appreciate all your feedback and as always, very happy to get back to you as soon as I can.
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you.
