Hello everyone! Today is my off from my dayjob and I'm feeling lazy today, I feel like I don't want to do anything, in my every day off I usually wake up early to do my laundries but today I feel like I don't have enough energy to get up to my bed, so I ended up waking up late around 12:00pm then I go to our window to check the weather. And as I look outside our house, I saw that the weather nice and fair today, not as hot like from the previous days, but I also notice the plants growing on our front yard some of them are tall enough, some have flowers and some are just sprouting, many of the plants there are edible, some have good health benefits and some of them can be use to treat illnesses. It's been a while since the last time I checked those plants because I've been very busy lately on my work, I was surprised when I saw the plants on our yards growing healthy so I decided to took pictures of it and share it to you... Like this one the **Malunggay/Moringa tree**, this tree is also called miracle tree because all of its parts can be used to treat several kinds of decease like diabetes and high blood pressure, and also we always use its leaves for some of our local food recipes. I also saw this **Oregano/Origanum Vulgare** this healthy watery plant is also one of a kind medicinal and culinary herb because the juice from its watery leaves is used to treat cough, sore throat and even cold. And also dried Oregano leaves can be used as spice to add flavor and aroma to some of our food recipes. I also saw this flowering chili pepper plant growing healthy, I think in a month or so this plant will produce fruits, but for now we will be using its leaves to add flavor on some of our foods. We also have **squash plant** in our yard, but this squash plant is not healthy unlike the other plants in our yard. I think this plant needs natural fertilizers and we need to pud some trellis to support its growth. look at this **papaya tree**, you can see in the color of its leaves that this papaya tree is growing healthy, It has been two months since my uncle planted this tree and my uncle said that maybe 4 months from now we can harvest fruits from this young papaya tree. I also see this very young **avocado tree**, I think it is 1-2 weeks old, and we need to wait for couple of years before we can harvest fruits from this tree, and also this tree needs much bigger place to grow, so we're planning to move this small avocado tree on my uncle's back yard. And last but not the least is this **Guava tree**, this is the oldest among all the plants and trees on our yard. This guava tree produce fruit every 4-6 months, and also we are using the water from boiled guava leaves to treat diarrhea and to clean open wounds. then after taking pictures of plants and trees on our front yard I decided to harvest some moringa and chili pepper leaves, I'll use this leaves for the food I'm planning to cook for my today's lunch. Taking those pictures makes me feel hungry Lol, so I cook this very cheap and easy to make dish "the Sauteed Canned Sardines With Moringa And Pepper Leaves. Cooking this delicious dish costs me only 60php/1.2usd, this is very cheap Lol. And that's all, I hope you enjoyed looking at the plants and trees on our front yard, and also If you're interested about the recipe of that Sauteed Sardines don't worry I will post it on my next cooking-lesson post hehe.. That's all for now and thank you for your time spent reading this, I hope you enjoyed.
