According to the **March equinox challenge**, about **balance**, promoted by @naturalmedicine in which you can still participate, entering [here](https://peakd.com/hive-120078/@naturalmedicine/win-up-to-100-hive-and-more-the-march-equinox-balance-challenge), I have decided to talk a little about balance in the practice of Yoga. We generally believe that balancing postures begin only when we are standing on one of our legs or on our arms, but the truth is that **ALL** postures without exception allow us to develop balance. ##### But, what is balance? For me, it is simply *a dance between extremes that allows us to stay in a middle ground, balanced*. I do not consider it to be something static but on the contrary, like life itself, I consider that in balance there must be a certain dynamism that allows us to "recalculate" when we have to adjust our bases. Otherwise, we would fall.

Whenever I reflect on the postures of my personal practice (*Sadhana*), the thought comes to mind that on a physical level I am learning to go from situation to situation (postures), through conscious breathing to learn to regain my balance, my center -*of gravity*-, to find harmony. So, that is why every day I try to dedicate a few minutes to my *Sadhana* in order to continue to develop this physical skill, and eventually, to be able to take the experience gained to daily life outside the mat. In both aspects: physical and mental. ##### I invite you to dance, with me, between the extremes, to reach the balance at the midpoint. And be part of this month's challenge proposed by @naturalmedicine.

##### And so, in celebration of yogis on HIVE this week! This Yogi get a 5 percent beneficiary this week - @vicnzia. For her great post about the muscle of the soul -*the psoas*-, and how important this muscle is for our life. ##### Thank you for sharing!
In this post, @vicnzia clarifies us how important this muscle is for our life and shows us some nice postures -*asanas*- on how we can stretch it deeply. . She tells us: >I want to talk to you about the psoas muscle, which in Eastern culture has been given the title of "muscle of the soul", due to its relationship with the central nervous system, because being connected to the diaphragm, it is related to breathing. If you want to read her full post, [**here**](https://peakd.com/hive-120078/@vicnzia/conoces-el-musculo-del-alma-te-invito-a-descubrirlo-do-you-know-the-muscle-of-the-soul-i-invite-you-to-discover-it) you have it.
