https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png ##### It's pretty clear that the world and especially us human beings are getting a much needed wake up call. The past months and those to follow will show whether we have listened to it or if we decide to continue on the destructive path that we as 'the dominant species' have been taken for quite some time, whether we choose freedom or the opposite, trust or mistrust, love or fear. Healthy food, natural medicine, love for nature in general, listening to our body and mind, increased social behavior, helping each other out, raising awareness for nature and health and so on and so forth. We all need this now more than ever and this is the time to increase our focus on the aforementioned. If you're reading this, you're probably one of those who have removed their blinders already. You're moving in the right direction. Hopefully you can be an example for those around you who haven't made it that far yet. Not by preaching, but by showing the best you that you can be - a being more in tune with ( their inner ) nature. This community and its abundance of quality content, as well as that of related tribes, assures me that all is far from lost. It proofs that there is indeed a huge rise in awareness, a surge of people turning towards a life that is more in balance with nature. I hope and feel that the following curation serves as an example of that. Much love, @vincentnijman

https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/paradoxtma/dRiu3a1z-20200505_181456_HDR.jpg Eric, @paradoxtma starts his gardening story with the following wise words: > Everyone likes to share the pictures and stories of their success. I'm not here to show off, I'm here to share my experience. That means there's going to be some failure on the feed. This post will feature failure on a couple levels. I suggest that you read [When Things Go Wrong](https://peakd.com/homesteading/@paradoxtma/when-things-go-wrong) , as it is indeed the so called 'failures' that give us the opportunity to grow.
Every week, at least 5% of the post's rewards go to one of the curated users. This week they'll go to you, Eric :<) https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://images.esteem.app/DQmfXeFBPZmVECb21rhfcydyMmnmpQ2hep4wKbUU6UYcn94/image.png In [Mangoes from My Terrace](https://peakd.com/hive-120078/@bala41288/mangoes-from-my-terrace) @bala41288 writes: > I feel happy to live in such a beautiful vegetation where I can pluck mangoes from my terrace. Not everyone gets this gift. There is a mango tree right next to my house compound wall. Of course the tree is in my neighbor's house but it is accessible from my terrace. They actually don't mind if we pluck mangoes from the tree. He talks about sharing among neighbors and the natural cycle that doesn't waste a single thing. He also describes how concrete is slowly taking over nature and how water has become more and more scarce in Chennai, India. While most of you are in lockdown, our pop-up, mobile tuk-tuk bakery has been running at full speed. Now more then ever people are relying on staple foods - such as bread - that can easily be picked up or delivered and enjoyed at home. Not only is she an amazing artist, she also doesn't shy away from sharing her personal story and the creative process. In [Just Bee. 33 Hours of Focus](https://peakd.com/ocd/@creativemary/just-bee-33-hours-of-focus) she says: > Because I have experienced difficult times during quarantine, facing it alone far from family and with an agitated personal life, I feel that this bee was like a little friend that I kept on going back to. Dot by dot. Pointillism sure can be healing and this piece of art just makes my heart sing.
