**Good afternoon dear community I hope you have a happy Sunday ...**
> "When men are healthy, society will also be" Meditating means being attentive to every moment of life, it is a practice that relieves mental, emotional, and physical tensions, reduces the production of stress hormones, improves cognitive standards and reduces symptoms or signs of attention deficit. Yoga is science, art and philosophy, a path to self-education, through the integration of the mind, body and emotions, one of the oldest practices in the East, declared on December 1, 2016 Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco (UN). When children, youth, and adults are inspired to learn about and experience these integrative practices in educational settings, socio-emotional skills and competences are expanded. The quality in human interactions acquires more meaning, empathy, the feeling of belonging, personal, social and cultural identity are more recognized and valued.
The school or educational environment becomes more welcoming, peaceful and loving, conflicting situations can arise and are resolved with greater dialogue and empathetic listening. The experiences provided by the practice of meditation and yoga in education promote a comprehensive vision of the student, recognizing their knowledge, rhythm and skills. Learning to take care of yourself, the body, human relationships, the environment, exploring creativity, developing a greater state of concentration, reducing thoughts and feelings of anxiety, fear or shyness, are some of the results achieved with students, educators and managers.
Quality education must value the health and well-being of all the actors involved in the educational process, promoting knowledge and practices for self-development and self-care. Our experiences in educational settings demonstrate the benefits of playful yoga and meditation practices in education.
It is an integrative approach that validates the Pillars of Education for the 21st century.
