The last 2 days I did some exercise and played tennis, but I slept very bad. I have a lot of mosquito's in my house which keep me up at night. Normally my cat would catch them, but I think he is getting too old for that. This weekend I will take things slow. I have to prepare the interviews that I have next week and still get a new haircut. That haircut I'm procrastinating now for a month, but on Sunday I have an appointment so no more long hair after then.
Coffee / Alcohol
I still drink too much coffee. I think I drink like 5 cups a day, which also makes me procrastinate and destroys my sleep quality. I need to stop that. In the past I always drank one cup in the morning and one in the afternoon. Nowadays I drink 4 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Also alcohol again. I started to reward myself to have a few beers when I had a long productive day, but I think I'm getting old and have much more problems to recover from a few beers. So I will also quit that and just drink beer with friends or on dates, which isn't that often.Betting
Betting is another thing I'm doing lately. I don't know if it's a good thing to bet on soccer games, but it makes my weekends more fun. I also get a little income from it, but I wouldn't count on it. It makes the matches (in which my club Ajax isn't playing), much more fun to watch, but I think when I have some more to do in my life (future girlfriend / tennis tournaments) that I will quit it. It's just too much time consuming and sitting on the couch watching sports isn't the healthiest thing to do. But this weekend I will still do it...Healthy food decisions
I started to make healthy vegan soups again. In the past I was kind of the master in the soup game. I even wanted to start a restaurant here in Amsterdam with only my soups. It is still a bit of a dream, but that's for when I'm somewhere in my 50's and have financial independence (I hope). But making soups with the vegetables that are on sale is one of the things I enjoy and I will keep doing that from now on. Today I'm having a zucchini-white bean soup with lots of fresh basil and smoked garlic.
