We got a great donation of kombucha, so I will review this yummy Gingerade variety!
I reviewed a few products from this brand GT's Living Foods recently, and I am STILL pleased with their consistently high quality product. As the name suggests, this is a fantastic ginger flavored kombucha. I really like it - it might be my favorite of all the GT flavors I've tried! I like that it's not too sweet, and I very much enjoy the spicy, earthy flavor of ginger.
On top of the great taste, kombuchas are some of my favorite drinks for their fun bubbly-ness and incredible health properties. It's like a soda that's actually good for you! There are living microbes in this fermented brew that are super duper for gut health, which is finally starting to get the attention it deserves as absolutely foundational for overall health. Something like 80-90% of your neurotransmitters as well as cells in the immune system are produced in the guts, so a healthy biome is absolutely vital to wellness. And with the standard American diet being basically shit not only devoid of intrinsic nutrients, but also a source of/fuel source for *harmful* organisms, going the extra mile to properly tend gut health becomes ever more important. This is a really tasty product, but it's also a primo health elixir! Kombucha itself is great, but ginger is also well respected for its digestive aid and anti inflammatory properties.
I also like the packaging. The label is pretty, and the jar is reuseable! I don't shop at stores because I don't want to support the global military industrial complex. However I realize that most people do, maybe because #1 they don't realize how they are directly endorsing the rape and murder of women, children, and the Earth by doing so, and #2 they don't know how many options actually exist for procuring literally everything you want or need...you can make something, trade or barter, find, or be gifted anything you wish for! It's the sacred economy, y'all... I encourage people to deeply consider what their $$$ is REALLY supporting, hence this product review. You can read more about this company on [their website](https://gtslivingfoods.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwv8nqBRDGARIsAHfR9wCK_iO9AvcL6YaLEbCIf0zrOQisg4BsT0pFAdvoMABRQuPCZ8JQJKAaAruKEALw_wcB). It's a family owned operation with an inspiring history. GT is a real guy, and his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, but cured herself by drinking kombucha!! GT started making kombucha at the ripe ol' age of 15 to share the magical powers with as many people as possible. # Cheers to empowered responsibility for your own health!
