I'd like to bring to you what made my Sunday sublime. Every Sunday for me is a period to give my King the praise that is due him and even more. It didn't rain this morning, the light radiation from the sun made it a bright and lovely day. Like always, my family and I prepared for a glorious Sunday service in church. Most times, in church we teaching about heaven and the procedures you must follow to make it there. Today seemed entirely different as we were led through a teaching that woke our spirit man from slumber.

Sleep is a state of natural muscle relaxation and a timely suspension of consciousness, which reduces interactions with surroundings. Unfortunately, not everyone sleeps a good sleep due to many reasons. The phenomenon of sleep captures the nature of sleep in humans, the common experience of disorder in the process of sleep.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

The young man in the foregoing quote fell from the third floor of a building during a vigil in the Book of Acts of the Apostles. Sleep disorder could come from a different angles to men. We usually don't acknowledge these problems when we even experience it and that could be more hazardous to our health. Some of sleep disorders could be:

•Insoomnia or Lack of Sleep This is a form of sleep disorder that occurs when someone is unable to find sleep. Not because he/she doesn't want to sleep but because the hormone that causes sleep refuses to secrete to the right organ which spark the action to sleep. This disorder could lead to emotional difficulties, risk of stroke/heart diseases and poor job performance. Anyone who is experiencing this should seek medical attention.

•Hypersomnia- Excessive Sleep or Oversleeping Too much of everything is bad for our health and life pursuits. Too much sleep is also detrimental to our well-being and engagements. To an extent, we should be able control our sleep. When an individual experiences Hypersomnia, he/she may not be able to give a quality performance if on any job.

•Sleep Apnoea- Temporary Cessation of Sleep The temporal stop of sleep is what this refers to. And most often this could arise as a result some abnormalities is the human system. This is also paralysis of sleep. Medical attention is necessary when such a case arises.

Other forms of sleep disorder could include:

-Somnambulism also known as Sleep-walking.

-Somniloquism also know as Sleep-talking.

Sleep is sweet. However, the wealth of a wealthy man takes sleep from him. We can find sleep when we do not involve in illegalities.

It is an indication that we are creatures and not creators. Only the Almighty God does not sleep not slumber. Humans should sleep.

One importance of sleep is that it allows our physical bodies to replenish in order to function appropriately.

Good sleep improves our immune system. Find time to sleep and never cheat yourself by not sleeping.
