The hope and expectation of every married couple is to produce kids. Children are a blessing to every marriage. Having kids also ensures that you keep your generational line intact and have kids that will take care of you in your old age.
Most young people are ignorant as to how sexual reproductivity works. Some things we do make it better. Others damage it. There are certain things you should avoid doing now in the unmarried period of your life, so that when you eventually marry, it won't be difficult giving birth to healthy children, as many as you want.
1. Taking Of Alcohol
Alcohol is dangerous to both the male and female reproductive organs. It can decrease a man's sperm count and lower his staying power during intercourse. For women it lessens conception rates ( makes it more difficult to conceive), and increases risk of miscarriage. So avoid alcohol at all costs if you are aspiring to be a parent in the future.
2. Smoking
Smoking for certain is dangerous to health. It destroys important organs of the body like the lungs, heart and liver. But it also weakens the reproductive system. Smoking can make a man less fertile and also women make them less likely to conceive and more likely to have miscarriages.
3. Excessive Intake Of Caffeine
Caffeine is a stimulant found in food products like coffee, tea and chocolate. According to scientific studies, excessive consumption of caffeine can make a woman take longer to get pregnant. It can make a woman wait up to nine months before conception takes place.
4. Intake Of Social Drugs
Drugs like marijuana and cocaine are harmful to both the male and female reproductive health. In men it can lead to low sperm count or increase in defective sperm.
5. Excessive Heat
When a man's reproductive organs are exposed to heat for prolonged moments, it can damage the organs. It can lead to reproductive malfunctions like low sperm count, watery sperm, and low sperm function. Avoid bathing with hot water most of the time or at least let the water be lukewarm.
6. Wearing Tight Underwears
This keeps the scrotum closer to the body and thus heats it up, which in turn affects the reproductive health. Try wearing loose fitting underwears, but not so loose.
