It is so easy to get depressed while staying at home(quarantined). But all that stress and depression will do you no good as it makes your immune system more weak, leaving you vulnerable. So to vent frustration, it is nice to have some fresh air and have a stroll outside of your home(may be in the backyard).
Despite all the government imposed quarantines, social distancing and preventive measures, I have a feeling that all of us are gonna get infected by Covid sooner or later( seriously hope I am wrong). So, where as preventive measures are necessary, it is also important not to panic and stay healthy both mentally and physically. Indulging in healthy mental and physical activities to keep our immune system strong enough to fight the imminent covid threat.

During the Covid regime, I decided to get involved in a bit of home gardening and grow some organic veggies. The hobby appears to have many benefits. First, the sense of achievement (of watching something you sow grow and develop into something amazing) helps to take the edge off and keeps the stress under control, and second the healthy yield of fresh homegrown organic veggies. So, I sow some Romaine Lettuce seeds a few weeks back(a bit late for the season though). And now they have sprouted into fully grown healthy plants. Compared to other species of Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce grows easily in my climate zone. It is easy to maintain, more temperature and disease resistant.
