  The number of vegans or vegetarians in the world is increasing day by day. In the last three years, the prevalence of veganism has increased by over 600 times. Globally, the demand for meatless food has increased by a thousand times by 2017, the Vegan Society said.


In 2018 the Vegan Society released a survey. It turns out that in the UK, as many as six million people follow vegan or vegetarian food lists. But in 2006, the number was just over one million. The survey said more women than men.

According to a survey in the United Kingdom, almost 49 percent of people voted in favor of avoiding meat in their diet, regardless of their health. Many recent studies have shown that eating processed meat increases the risk of developing bowel cancer.


Not only the United Kingdom, but also the whole world, the number of vegetarianism is increasing. Demand for vegetable foods in Iceland is growing at a rate of over 10 percent per year. And according to the trend, the big supermarkets are starting to keep more and more of vegetarian food.


Vegan or vegetarian diet lists do not contain any animal meat, fish, dairy products or eggs. They do not even look at the use of animal skins, oats and pearls.
