Changing health and lifestyle habits is hard. We're all familiar with bouts of motivation where we head to the gym, drink our smoothies, and swear off desserts. Assuming you're a human being, this never lasts and you find yourself eventually reverting to your original behaviors. Permanently changing our habits is a slowwww process and success comes from taking small sustainable steps endowed with love and compassion. Without further delay, the absolute easiest thing you can do to improve your health is...... Drink Room Temperature Water!

Not only is this easy, it's highly effective. This simple change will increase your digestion, mood, ability to detoxify, and energy levels. When you consume ice water your stomach temperature drops, your blood vessels constrict, your intestines constrict and the food in your stomach solidifies. As a result, your body is forced to reallocate it's resources. Energy is taken away from digesting food and used to reheat the stomach. This energy is rather essential for healthy absorption of nutrients. Meanwhile your blood vessels and your intestines both constrict. This constriction causes an impedance to blood flow and your heart rate to slow. As well as constipation, bloating, and other digestive issues. Lastly, the molecules of food in your stomach (especially fats) are solidified, further reducing your ability to digest them properly. So many benefits from a simple request... "No ice please."
