Good morning, Friends! Day 11 challenge is done and I rambled a little bit in my video but I wanted to speak to people who want to try something new to better themselves and make positive changes. It doesn't have to be in diet or exercise; it could be working on a better attitude or committing to listening more.

## Getting my fat body to move I wasn't going to start until tomorrow because I have a busy day today - Thursdays usually are - but there's no time like the present and I can make time... or at least time myself with a new addition to my daily routine - walking or burpees. # Day 11 https://youtu.be/ZDUL4Nz_GXI As I mentioned in my vlog, it's almost exactly 1 mile round trip to the park and back. I will eventually get to a 2-mile round trip walk but, *I live in Florida.* There are going to be some hot, humid days where going outside would probably be stupid so I need to fill that exercise space with something - and I chose burpees. According to those who are familiar with the Spartan Race... #

### What is a burpee? * A squat thrust * A plank * A push-up * A jump in the air Believe it or not, I used to do 30 a day when I lived in the Adirondacks. The first attempt to do 30 in a day literally took me 4 hours from first to 30th because I needed to take so many breaks. I'm probably at this point again. ๐ญ I also lived next to a mountain that I hiked with my dogs nearly every day. It was wonderful. I felt strong and healthy. I want that again. ## The Spartan Burpee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd4doxxCF4o I've been in Florida for nearly 5 years and I miss my mountains and there's nothing about the terrain or the landscape here that inspires 2 hour hikes. I have to dig deep for my own inspiration. It's time.
