Big Changes!! 12,682 Reps From 12 Steemians After 32 Days - The Steem Daily 100 Rep Fitness Challenge - 50 Push-ups & 50 Squats - Day 33

### Today starts a new concept/opportunity of "team reps" to allow more people to participate. ### - For example, @soyrosa admirably did 30 air squats, and @crimsonclad later supplemented this with 54 squats and 16 push-ups to complete the 100-rep challenge as a unit. - I think this is awesome and encourage more of this so people don't feel intimidated. The goal is to be happy, proud, and healthy from this exercise and participation. - In other words, those who can't do 100 reps can participate in comfortable sets as they ramp up while teammate(s) cover the difference. - Uh oh... excuses are thinning! ### I'll also be maintaining these two manual charts going forward to better display everyone's stats and progress. ###

I audited all entries for these charts and made a few minor corrections. _It's not a completion between people, but it's with ourselves to improve our health and wellness._ ------- ### Day 32 Results: 616 reps from 6 Steemians for Mon EST, 9/16. Actions matter. Thank you for being involved! ------ ### My 9/16 Reps & Feedback: 50 push-ups & 50 squats ### - My video of 50/50 from last night done in 3:10. I was 30 seconds slower than my best time because I didn't break my reps up well. I got tired in the middle, and I should try to stick to the 10/10 x5, or 20/20 x1 with 10/10 x3. ### https://youtu.be/qzN--Ouu5sE My pulled lower back was terrible on Saturday and Sunday, but it's 95% better now. It was rough to play ball through it, but I stretched and did diaphragm breathing nonstop for hours to work the issue out. The soreness is fading rapidly. No chiropractor or sports massage needed. ---- ### Today's Highlights: ### - Teams and charts introduced! - @soyrosa stepped up to the plate with chronic foot pain and hammered out her first 30 air squats. - @crimsonclad backed Rosa up with the difference without blinking. True awesome character revealed. ------- ### What's the challenge? ### 50 push-ups (modified if needed) and 50 air squats. If you want to do a different ratio or split, that's fine. Just reach 100 reps from these options and reply below with an affirmation, pic, link, or video. We're on the honor system. *Team entries are now accepted. Make sure you go 90 degrees with your elbows and legs, with your back straight, on each rep. Don't have your elbows too wide on the floor. This will be far from all I do on most days, and the same can go for you. --- - Markets and spirits may be down now, but our health should always be on the rise. - We don't always need an app and tokens for everything, or to worry about things we can't control. - Worry about what we _can_ control.
