**Fancy a healthy high protein start to the day?** *Obviously Tom! (I assume you answered)* Well, then folks give the following a try. For a large bowl (approx. 650kcal): Please note to adjusting the portion accordingly to your needs (I am around 90kg). -80g oats -200 ml milk (full fat, substitute for low fat to save some kcal) -400/500 ml water (depending how thick you like it) -pinch of salt -20g vanilla protein powder -1 medium banana Instructions: Mix the oats, milk, water and salt and let simmer on very low heat for 5-10 minutes. Once the mix starts to thicken into a porridge-like consistency, take it off the heat and let it cool down for another 5-10 minutes. Now stir in the protein powder (you don't want the protein powder in before you cook the porridge, as it could denature it or make it curdle). Chop up the banana and top off your delicious meal (add in a half a square of dark choc (81% cocoa) for a gourmet meal). This very filling portion of porridge provides you with around 40g protein and 13g of fibre to start your day off right. If you did things correctly it should look like this
