Bee Pollen and Apricots Easy Smoothie 🐝🐝

Hey guys!

How's everything in your world? I'm sure everything it's just the way it should be! Good or bad, we have to embrace whatever we get and stay positive. There are certain things in our lives which we can control and others which we don't; but we depend on these things. Sometimes is about our jobs, our family, our home, our kids, our moral principles, our acts, our behavior, our genetics, our our our our. And not least HEALTH!! 

HEALTH.........there is so much to talk about this topic! its such a BIIIIIIIIIIIG BIIIIIIIIIG and controverse subject. Sometimes is so hard to define what health is. I think Health can be subjective or better said, the ways of getting and being healthy depend from culture to culture, individual to individual.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that our biological well-being can be controlable (if there aren't specific genetical conditions or diseases ofc). How? WE all heard it!! EXERCISE! HAVE A BALANCED DIET! GET ENOUGH SLEEP!  LAUGH AND BE POSITIVE! DON'T STRESS! DON'T SMOKE! etc

In this case, I'm here to share with you this smoothie recipe which is full of nutrients and vitamins. Controlling what we put in our body is a way of maintaining our healthy on an optimum level. We are what we eat!!! And I always quote on Hippocrates -> 

LET YOUR FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINE and MEDICINE BE YOUR FOOD!

Ingredients

  • banana
  • apricots
  • one peach (optional)
  • full fat coconut milk
  • bee pollen

Blend everything and enjoy!!

Here you can read some nutritional facts of Bee Pollen! I found it a very complex superfood, containing loads of beneficial chemical compounds, like honey. πŸ―🐝

If you follow a Low-calories Diet, you can replace the coconut milk with water.  It's not really the same taste (cause let's face it...Coconut is coconut!!! haha) but I assure you, its still delicious!  

What I love about this smoothie is the energy it gives me. Maybe it's all in my head (the Placebo effect) because I truly believe that drinking this specific smoothie raises my energy levels or it truly does. I love bee pollen and whenever I feel tired and "hungrish & willing" for a drink, I choose to make myself a smoothie with bee pollen. Very helpful for mommy-life haha!
