What's Going on In Our Tribe - Bring on 2020!!

It's been months since we've written a newsletter updating about what's going on on the Natural Medicine front end! This post is to summarise a few cute and cool things happening within the Tribe and on www.naturalmedicine.io. We're doing our best to support the larger Steemiverse by making our corner as user friendly and enticing as possible, especially with view to onboarding. #### We Turned 70!! We turned 70!!! Still a few days left to post from our front end to win 70 LOTUS - that's all you have to do! Easy winnings!

#### Posting from Front End Now, you get a cute little green lotus to signify you've posted on the Front End. Not only that, you get a small LOTUS upvote AND your post immediately appears in our blog stream, so we can easily see it and resteem it, and the whole community can see it too!

##### We also love the archive 'post box' What do you think? We ditched the dates because we think it looks cleaner.

##### Community Tag If you post on www.naturalmedicine.io, you don't need to write the tag #naturalmedicine - it'll automatically put it there for you. Once the beta Steemit (with the communities feature) is the main Steemit front end everyone uses, the 'hive-10078' tag will simply read 'NaturalMedicine', which is does on beta steemit and www.naturalmedicine.io. You then have ten tags to use how you like! Should we increase that to 12? ##### More Rewards for Contributors In addition to STEEM via beneficiaries, we've set up another account to pay wages in LOTUS to our contributors. It's a way of keeping things transparent.

##### 2020 Challenges We're continuing our challenge with big rewards in Steem and Lotus. We encourage everyone to enter. We're charging small amounts of LOTUS as a burn for entry to support the ecosytem, but if you don't have a lot, get in touch and we'll burn it for you. All valid entries get 100 percent upvote and resteem and a chance to win. ##### We're Sharing on Twitter What fun! The #posh (proof of share) tag is all about marketing to outsiders, and we're doing our bit. If we see a good post of yours, we will share it on Twitter and/or Facebook. ##### An Abundance Challenge @plantstoplanks is hosting the Deepak Chopra Abundance channel in our Discord. All we ask is a voluntary LOTUS burn to help the ecosystem - it's a great way to bring in the new year! ##### Hobo Dao We've partnered with Hobo Dao and have had a token exchange. We'll keep you posted about this as there's still some details to be fine tuned. #### Raising Steempower & Burning Lotus We're continuing to post lots of content so that we can raise steem for YOU, increasing our upvotes, but also to raise money for challenges. Rest assured every time you upvote us, the rewards are coming back at YOU. All our curation and author rewards are either burnt or kept to support you. #### SEO We've got @justinparke working hard on SEO to increase our presence on Google. The more we're seen, the more we're likely to bring people in via onboarding. #### Speaking of onboarding We've had four new users come in via our Front End and the free accounts offer. We'll continue to work on this as much as possible. It's been a seamless process via the email welcome@naturalmedicine.io! If anyone you know wants a free account, get them to email us and we'll send them the keys as a PDF (which we immediately ditch!J) ##### Burning Lotus We're continuing to burn LOTUS via various incentives. ##### Curators Thanks to our curators - we're now heading to our 71st curation post on Steem. What a milestone! We do two curations a week - once for general health, and the other for meditation posts. You might notice we've revamped our curation image for the new year - you'll still be receiving personal comments, but we just kinda like the pretty. Some people think it's spammy, and we're concious of this. Let us know what you think in the comments, as we are absolutely open to feedback. It's important to have a balance between letting people know about our tribe, letting people know that NM is continuing to support them, and nothing at all... hmm! Food for thought!
