#### More than 495,000 AFIT to be burnt October 25 Following our last month AFIT tokens burn, which took place on September 25 and resulted in 1,380,391 AFIT tokens being burnt, This coming Friday October 25 2019, we will also be performing another burn on our AFIT tokens being held under @actifit.s-e account. Till today, the total amount held in the account amounts to 495,482 AFIT. A couple of clarifying notes on AFIT token burn event: - The event does not affect your own tokens in any way possible, whether the ones available on S-E or on your actifit wallet. - Burning is a measure taken by many projects, the purpose of which is to limit the circulating supply of a token, which normally reflects positively on the token price based on scarcity and demand. #### FitOctober - "Bring in Fitbit Users" Contest We are three weeks through October, and if you're not aware, we are running throughout October our FitOctober campaign to bring Fitbit users to Actifit community, and Steem community at large. The competition is **running for a month, during the whole month of October.** The mission is to **let any Fitbit user you know (or don't know) about how they can auto-leverage their Fitbit to tap into crypto, join fitness oriented crypto community, and get rewarded for being healthy**. ##### Competition Rules & Rewards - Signup the new Fitbit user for free via your [referral link](https://actifit.io/referrals) (you need to login to find it) while using the promo code **FITOCTOBER** on the signup page. - For every Fitbit user you sign up and who creates at least 2 activity reports, you will be rewarded with 10 STEEM + 100 AFIT reward.
