The beginnings.

After I've starting building my online shop i started to look for interesting products to sell. And have found this interesting bottle + juice squeezer. So consequently i started a research because i needed to write a product copy for it. I started reading different articles about hydration, or simply drinking water and realized how much less water i drank for years which was probably the reason i felt so shitty so often and even started thinking should i visit a doctor or not. I love to test my theories in practice before i make any sort of statement and i started drinking 6-10 glasses of pure water a day and oh boy i can tell the difference!

I know it is still quite early for any conclusive results, but the way i fell three days in is a game changer for me.
If you are experiencing any of below mentioned symptoms, give it a try. It does not cost anything, tap water is free in most parts of the world (well almost free) it just takes some effort to develop a habit. If you decide to try this, please let me know if you feel any different or any improvement.

Some facts associated with drinking enough (or too little) water

Average person needs 2 to 3 liters (0.5 - 0.8 gallon) of water a day. It is very important for your health to keep body sufficiently hydrated throughout the day. Our bodies consist more that 60% of water and every cell in your body needs it to function properly since water: * gets wastes our of our bodies * keeps body temperature normal * lubricates and cushions joints * protects sensitive tissues Are you hydrating enough? Or are you experiencing and of the following symptoms: * tiredness and sleepiness * dizziness or lightheadedness * muscle weakness or fatigue * headache If you are experiencing these symptoms regularly it might be it's not some sort of illness but simply dehydration and you have developed a bad habit of not drinking enough water. If you don’t get enough water, you can become dehydrated. Severe cases of dehydration can cause dizziness, confusion, and even seizures.

What to drink to stay hydrated?

Your best choice is plain water. It is cheap and readily available in most parts of the world. You might say you get water with foods you eat as well, especially fruits and vegetables, or by drinking soft drinks, tea and coffee. But beware it's not the same as plain water. Caffeine is diuretic and it is present in coffee and tea. Diuretics makes you pee more often, resulting in more fluid loss than you get with a cup of coffee. Soft drinks contain extreme levels of sugars and sugar is extremely unhealthy and results in various unfavorable conditions (sugar deserves a separate article and we will cover it in the future). Most people can safely drink about 2 to 4 cups of coffee each day. But if it makes you feel anxious or jittery scale it down a little bit. On the other hand fruits and vegetables like cucumbers, lettuce and watermelon are over 90% water. They also provide a variety of different vitamins and and minerals. But it is not easy to drag a watermelon around with you to stay hydrated each day.

Benefits of drinking enough water:

Healthy kidneys - When levels of calcium in urine become too high, they harden into crystals in your kidneys. Water aids in diluting those stone causing elements. Prevention of catching cold - lack of fluids dries the membranes in your nose and throat, reducing your ability to deflect the bacteria and viruses that cause colds and respiratory infections. Dental health - When body fluid levels dips below normal, saliva production reduces. Without saliva to fight off microorganisms, and flush out food particles, your mouth lacks its natural cavity fighting mechanism. And most importantly you avoid all those nasty symptoms like tiredness, sleepiness, dizziness, fatigue and other conditions that severely reduces your productivity. Build a habit to hydrate. It’s very easy to go through our busy day and not drink enough water. Try to find ways to build it into your day. Make water your go-to drink. Some people find that carrying a water bottle does the trick. Flavor your water. Drink herbal tea, or add lemons, cucumbers, or strawberries to make your water more flavorful and appealing. Avoid lemonades and other sugary drinks, which add a lot of calories to your diet. [This is the bottle that i am selling. Schedule drinking water into your day. Whether it’s drinking a large glass of water as soon as you wake up, or at set intervals, start establishing a habit to get more water into your diet. Eventually, it will become second nature. Prolonged dehydration may develop into serious conditions and different health issues. By taking these small steps towards increasing your hydration, you’re going to make a big difference in your overall health. Increase your hydration and enjoy the benefits you’re going to feel in the long run. Hydrate with flavor. All images used in this article are free images from [Dreamstime.com](www.dreamstime.com)
