Eating healthy should always be a important thing in one's day to day living and when it comes to healthy foods there's no doubt that fruits and vegetables are Royal Kings in the food category, And of course i know everyone loves to eat tasty delicious foods and desserts cause i know i certainly do and indeed we can as a matter a fact. And also if you do a small research on the 80/20 food diet or even ask a Nutritionist you'll be sure to discover the 80/20 rule and how it works, a diet which clearly explain that a diet doesn't need to be 100 percent perfectly healthy for a person to live a long healthy life. This healthy eating practice which involves focusing on eating healthy foods 80 percent of the time and less healthy foods the remaining 20 percent. Fruits and vegetables grown fully organically is always the best source of vitamins, minerals, iron, calcium, potassium and even protein. Yes protein ! Fruits like Jackfruit which contains 1.42 grams of protein per 1/2 cup serving which most people might not even be aware of and also fruits like Guava are also said to contain protein as well just to name a few. Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs and Medicinal plants was always been used since ancient times by Herbal Doctors and or Bush Doctors to treat illness of all soughts from infections to nourishing the body and boosting the immune system.

A early record of this concept can be found in the Bible, According to two passages Daniel fasted twice. During the first fast he ate only Vegetables and Fruits and drank only Water to set himself apart for God. And for a second fast mentioned in a later chapter, Daniel stopped eating meat, wine and other rich foods. Fruits and Vegetables are mostly alkaline in Nature which is no doubt great for the human body.
