These, but not limited to , are the principal causes of Mammals Kidney Stones.
1) ENVIRONMENTAL!! This referse to the influence of external, especially climatic and precipitation conditions which predisposes development of Kidney Stone.
They are mainly those factors that enables INADEQUATE hydration of the alimentary system including the Kidney!!
Whenever an animal is starved of adequate water consecutively for long periods ; there would be a precipitation of solutes inside the Kidneys , resulting in stones
2) HEREDITARY. Some individuals are naturally more predisposed to developing kidney stones. This is because their physiology to is less tolerant to other factors which induces kidney stones development.This could be why Some individuals among many that are exposed to similar conditions suffers kidney stones while others are free of them!
3) UNDER /OVER SECRETION OF HORMONES. The amount of solutes, especially of calcium the kidney solution can tolerate is as mediated by some specific hormones, especially those secreted by the thyroid glands like thyroxine. If the tolerance is high, there would be little incidences of kidney stones!!
The keys to excellent kidney health devoid of stones is therefore by adequate hydration of the system by regiular drinking of table water and ensuring regulatory hormones are appropriated adequately.
