Bei den Kelten war sie Hel gewidmet , der Göttin der Unterwelt . Da wurde sie an "Samhain" den Verstorbenen geweiht . Immerhin enthält sie über 40 Alkaloide . Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich gehört , dass ein Wirkstoff der Pflanze das "Vincamin" die "Hirndurchblutung" fördert :-)) , also her mit dem Zeug :-)) ich kann´s brauchen :-)) My friend Hildegard (Insiders know that I mean the Fraulein von Bingen) recommended the plant against "Allerley Zipperleyen" like cough, sore throat and digestive problems. Damals vor langer , langer Zeit , als die "Dorfdisco" sich noch "unter der Linde" abgespielt hat , haben sich die Mädels mit Kränzen aus Immergrün geschmückt :-)) Das war von Vorteil wenn man kein Geld mehr für einen "Cuba Libre" hatte , konnte man sich einen Tee aus dem Blütenschmuck der Angebeteten kochen :-)) In "alten Zeiten" , als hier noch die Götter herrschten galt das Immergrün bei den Kelten als Druidenpflanze , die mit ihr ihre Gedankenkräfte gesteigert hatten . Selbst "Paracelsus" , (ich glaube : "der Erfinder" der Paranuss (kann mich aber auch irren) , also beileibe kein Dummkopf :-)) beschrieb die Pflanze als "Verschreikraut" , also eine Pflanze die gegen Flüche und Besessenheit hilft .
