We can all use some more mindfulness in these challenging times, there's no arguing that. Although the last week has been a rough one for most of us, I was pleasantly surprised by the outpouring of beautiful writing around the theme of mindfulness. Times like these sure are a great chance for introspection, for listening to the hear, quieting the mind and looking at and speaking straight from the soul. Let the following posts take you on a path of further enlightenment in seemingly dark(er) times. Was signed, SuperZENsitivosaurs aka @vincentnijman https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png @fenngen from Chile wrote the amazing [Paying Attention to our Breath and two vids on how to get high on it](https://hive.blog/hive-120078/@fenngen/paying-attention-to-our-breath-and-two-videos-on-how-to-get-high-on-it) I didn't try these two techniques, as I couldn't find the 20 minutes of time today, but I love his message and might check out these vids later. This is what he said: > But we don’t have to breathe deeply or attempt to pull ourselves out of our dear melancholy and sadness. All I’m suggesting is to pay close attention to breath. Once we do that everything starts to become clear, it becomes obvious that our state of mind stems directly from the way we are breathing. https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png I loved this post by @flores39 ! > I don't care if I was put here by an alien, a fragment of energy from the big bang, if I came out from the depths of the water or if my genetic great-grandfather is an ape; I don't care but I am concerned with living and feeling the present, the here and now. That state of full and blissful consciousness that I achieve with introspection, with internal dialogue where the mind is neither arbiter nor moderator because I turn it off like turning off the computer once I use it. https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/flores39/OzJEawWC-Flor-1.png The entire story can be found here: [Global Quarantine - Time to Look Inward](https://peakd.com/@flores39/global-quarantine-time-to-look-inward-cuarentena-mundial-es-hora-de-mirar-hacia-adentro) https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png @indigoocean , gotta love that name! wrote: > ...if you have an increase in at-home time these days, why not learn a new skill that will strengthen your immune system and help you destress? That will serve you both now and once life returns to its normal level of outward focus. The ability to control your own mind and direct your thoughts and emotions at will is a powerful skill to have for any world situation. https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/indigoocean/9FM2FxpD-azalea-1307644_1280.jpg Read more here: [At Home Opportunities - Meditation for Health and Stress Relief](https://hive.blog/hive-174578/@indigoocean/at-home-opportunities-meditation-for-health-and-stress-relief) https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png @whatamidoing suggests that we embrace the fear: > It will always be there, and the more you fight it, the stronger it will become > If you embrace it, you can move through it You will cut those strings and be free to move as you please Life will reflect the change in you and doors will open Find his full post here: [Embrace the Fear](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/hive-120078/@whatamidoing/embrace-the-fear) https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png ##### There was so much more good stuff to be found: @in2itiveart shared [a creative way to deal with the fear for the virus by making a so called Sigil](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/coronavirus/@in2itiveart/i-am-reposting-this-for-people-who-are-suffering-from-the-coronavirus-or-from-fear-of-the-coronavirus-or-from-people-s-fear) which sounds magical and refers, apparently, to 'a symbolic representation of the practitioner's desired outcome'. I would love to try this out! @binkyprod shares a special type of guided meditation to deal with anxiety [Anxiety Guided Meditation with EFT Tapping](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/naturalmedicine/@binkyprod/anxiety-guided-meditation-with-eft-tapping) and loads of other useful links. @clareartista counts the [many blessings of the lockdown](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/naturalmedicine/@clareartista/the-many-blessings-of-the-lockdown-f39zdasd) and shares how rescuing her neighbors vegetable garden has changed her life. @nainaztengra wrote the beautiful: [Trust the Divine Timing](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/mindfullife/@nainaztengra/trust-the-divine-timing) that I think all of us can relate to. @carolynstahl reminds us that this is the [time to focus on wellness](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/hive-120078/@carolynstahl/time-to-think-about-wellness) @likedeeler came up with a fun collage of a post, mainly about the importance of music in times of quarantine: [Music Monday Quarantines](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/music/@likedeeler/music-monday-quarantunes) And last but certainly not least @d-pend writes about creativity and depression and many other things. His words need a re-read, too profound to grasp at once: [The Cost of Creativity -Perpetual Motion and when we Fall](https://www.naturalmedicine.io/hive-114105/@d-pend/the-cost-of-creativity-perpetual-motion-and-when-we-fall) https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/naturalmedicine/Q5OrroCk-BWdivider.png
