HIGH PROTEIN , LOW CARB CHOCOLATE ROLL RECIPE

It tastes good, its low carb too! it’s very low in calories too! If you are on low carb diet you can replace cream cheese with whipping cream but total calories will change. LOW CARB SPONGE INGREDIENTS (1 Large)

2 medium eggs 2 tblsp of 0cal sweetener 10g reduced fat cocoa powder ( 11% fat) 7gr cornflour (use flax meal for low carb) Macros for this sponge are: 183 cal 10g carbs 10g fat 14g protein For the filling 120g 3% fat cream cheese 10gr protein powder (optional ) Water To bake the sponge just mix all ingredients in food processor or using hand mixer and pour this liquid in to slightly oiled MEDIUM glass dish, just like on the picture below. Bake in preheated oven to 180c for 10 min. Baking time will depend on the size of your dish. My baking dish was large and that’s why my sponge looks thin. Leave your sponge to cool. Use spatula to release from the bottom of the baking dish. Make a test and try to form a roll. If it is difficult to roll you will have to moist your cake with some kind of liquid and leave it to soak. I use coffee or orange juice to moist my cake. Spread your choice of filling and start rolling to form a cake roll.
