Well, when we say favourite - we do love www.naturalmedicine.io as it enables us to see all that great niche content in one place AND our LOTUS rewards - plus, if you post there, you get wee bit of LOTUS if you're a delegator - BUT - we're pretty big advocates of Steempeak on Natural Medicine. Steemit who?? We don't really need that front end when we have a *far* superior product. If you aren't posting on your favourite token based front end such as [www.naturalmedicine.io](www.naturalmedicine.io), you should be using Steempeak. We like to *draft* in Steempeak (drafts are always saved, and you can save templates too) and then cut and paste it to www.naturalmedicine.io, but did you know there's plenty of other options for supporting communities too? First of all, if you're going to get used to Steempeak, you may as well make the move to beta.steempeak.com. Here, you can test the new communities feature. It's constantly evolving, with new features being added everyday. There's a couple of ways you can post WITHIN a community. If you post within a community, it'll immediately put the hive tag first - on Steempeak, it won't look like 'hive-00000', but will be given the community name. You can go to the community first, found by looking across the top bar for the word 'Communities'.
From there, you can see the drop down list of all the communities you've subscribed to. If not, simply search for a community, and click the 'subscribe' button on the right hand side. You can't see the subscribe button here because I'm already a subscriber - but you can see the word 'actions' - that's where it will appear. And can you see the 'write a post' button in blue?? That's where you pop your post straight into the community pages. You might ask why you want to do this - well, once all the front ends are synced up with this stuff, it means you'll be able to post JUST in community if you want, say, a question about something, and it won't go on your main blog. You might as well get used to that now! For now though, if you post on Steempeak community, it'll show up on the other front ends, but it won't show up on your **beta steempeak** blog. Really, if there was only one front end, this would be a lot more simple, right? But there's other benefits too, such as supporting your community via beneficiary. More on this later.
From there, there's a few options you might not be aware of. When you're ready to post, you can try clicking on 'Advanced Settings' or 'Beneficiary' where you can: - Choose which thumbnail you want to go first, even if it's not your first image! - Set a beneficiary, meaning part of your post rewards go to that user - Create your own URL permlink which might be better for SEO - Write a short description preview of your post # And now, you can crosspost across communities! To do this, ### But there's more than one way to post in a community! That's one of the things we love about Steempeak. It's so intuitive, and there's more than one way to do something, meaning you're absolutely going to find your way to anywhere with a few clicks. You can also post in the community you like by starting to draft a post just as you normally would, by clicking on the little pencil icon up near your user name in the top right. Then, you can choose to post to 'MY BLOG' - meaning you choose all your own tags - or in the community you like, by selecting from the drop down list.
# Crossposting Across Communities... To post in more than one community at once, you have to post your post first. Then, scroll down and look for the three little dots:
After that, you'll get an option to select the community you want your post to appear in. Say you've written an awesome creative post, but it also qualifies as a Natural Medicine post, maybe because it's, say, something to do with managing mental health through art. You can post in a creative community, then use the little dots, post it to Natural Medicine community, and voila! We also get a little beneficiary, which in turn helps your upvotes by helping us out with Steempower.
How cool is that!! **On beta.steempeak, it'll appear in the feed with the little message at the top, if you've chosen to write a little note.** So I could write this post, I used my own account, @riverflows, as an example - I posted in OCD, but then crossposted in Team Australia, which means they get a little beneficiary boost - a little 5 percent which is a nice little thanks for the support!
#### Of course, this post is being posted in the Natural Medicine community so all members will see it - but it'll also be crossposted elsewhere to say thankyou for the Steempeak community for their continued hard work on this awesome of most awesome front ends.
