Kaelan has arrived. He's a healthy boy, and big. 9lbs 7 ounces big :) We prepared for a home birth, but in the end the cervix wasn't getting dilated enough progressing too slow. After 48 hours, it was only at 6-7 cm. The babies heart rate was dropping after the membrane was broken manually to try to force labor to progress. So we ended up at the hospital this morning after my partner had an arduous 48 hours of labor. She couldn't take anymore. A c-section was required to get the baby out with lowering heartrate. He's healthy. All is good :D Back to the hospital after coming home to get food and some other stuff. Take care. Peace!
